We will photograph wildlife and landscapes in this breathtaking winter wonderland.
Itinerary:
Day 1 (Jan 18): Arrive in West Yellowstone, Montana. Check into the lodge. At 6 pm we’ll have a welcoming dinner together and discuss the next few days.
Day 2 (Jan 19): Those who have arrived can spend the morning and/or afternoon at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center (Optional) for the opportunity to photograph the grizzly and wolves in snow at close range (captive). You will also be able to fine tune out clothing and gear.
Day 3-7 (Jan 20-24): We will rise early each morning and after breakfast (provided by the hotel @ 6 AM) we will board our private
snowcoach and head into Yellowstone NP in search of wildlife and scenery. We’ll be looking for Bison, Fox, Elk, Bobcat, Wolves, Coyotes, Eagles, Otters, Trumpeter Swans and other species that are known to spend their winter in Yellowstone.

Captive shot at Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.
Deep winter snow pushes the Yellowstone wildlife down to the valleys and along the Madison River and Yellowstone River providing unique opportunities for spectacular wildlife imagery. Each day we will focus on the active wildlife areas of the park that can change on a moment’s notice.
If the light presents the opportunity for scenic images we will stop and photograph those scenes. Our main goal is to seek wildlife
in their winter habitat and capture their behavior as we tour the interior of Yellowstone NP.
Lunch will be provided during each of the 5 days on the snowcoach.
We will return to our lodge in the early evening daily from our long day of photographing the interior of Yellowstone NP.
